Encyclopædia Britannica have this blog thing going on for quite a while now (yes, they jumped the 2.0 train) where authors are invited to write articles. One branch which might be interesting for the class in the next few weeks is the Brave New Classroom 2.0 blog.
Several authors are filling the blog bit by bit, an overview of things to come is available in the first post.
One of the usual suspects, Mark Bauerlein, has also been invited to do a free ad tour of his book.
