My name is Alexander Sperl and this is my blog for random stuff related to my courses at the University of Marburg.
I work as an e-learning consultant at the computing center of the University of Gießen. My focus is on e-learning in on-the-job training courses because I am part of the project “WM³ -Weiterbildung Mittelhessen“. Before, I was a research assistant at the department of English at the University of Marburg. For a couple of years, I worked there in the Linguistic Engineering Team around Prof. Dr. Handke.
Additionally, I work as a freelance designer from time to time. Thus, sometimes posts about design/typography and some such things can be seen in this blog, too.
I have some experience in the application of the New Media in education from my own teaching at the university and will discuss these applications in an on-the-job training setting in my blog.
By the way, the typeface used in the header of this site is called Conquerer Slab and can be found at FontSquirrel.com.
